Makes 12 mummies.

1 puff pastry sheet
12 Strasbourg sausages (or cocktail sausages)
1 egg yolk
A little mustard for the eyes

Steps 5 steps

Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
Cut the puff pastry into strips one centimeter wide.
Wrap one or two strips around each sausage, crossing them a little and leaving a slit near the top for the eyes.
Set the mummies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the pastry with egg yolk.
Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, until the pastry is nice and golden. Draw two little mustard eyes in the slit.
