  1. Preheat the oven

Turn the oven on to 220 °C (gas mark 7). Put the baking sheet inside so it heats up too.

Tip · If your sheet is too hot to touch, use a kitchen towel to handle it. The dough shouldn't start cooking before it's topped.
  2. Roll out the dough

Take the pizza dough out of the fridge. Roll it right onto the hot baking sheet with the rolling pin so it doesn't stick. Leave the edge a little thicker for the crust.

  3. Spread the tomato paste

In the bowl, mix the tomato paste with the olive oil, the oregano and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread this over the dough with a spoon, leaving a 1 cm border bare.

  4. Add the ham and mushrooms

Dice the ham small and slice the mushrooms thin. Scatter them evenly over the dough, pressing them lightly into the sauce.

  5. Scatter the mozzarella

Drain the mozzarella and cut it into small pieces. Scatter them over the pizza, covering the whole surface well.

  6. Bake the pizza

Slide the sheet with the pizza into the hot oven. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is nicely melted.

Tip · To keep the cheese from burning, keep a close eye on it after 10 minutes. The pizza is ready when the cheese is golden and bubbly and the crust is crisp.
  7. Add the arugula

Take the pizza out of the oven. Scatter the raw arugula on top right away so it stays fresh.

And there you go, it's readyCheck off every step to celebrate.
