  1. Heat the water

Fill the saucepan halfway with water and bring it to a boil over high heat.

  2. Peel the onion

Peel the onion and dice it small on the cutting board.

  3. Cook the onion

Heat the oil in the nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook the diced onion for 3 minutes until translucent.

Tip · If the onion starts browning too fast, turn the heat down and add a little water to the skillet so it doesn't stick.
  4. Add the tomatoes

Add the crushed tomatoes to the skillet with the onion and let it simmer over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring with the wooden spoon.

  5. Cook the pasta

Add the pasta to the salted boiling water and cook it for the time on the package (about 8 to 10 minutes).

  6. Drain the pasta

Once the pasta is cooked, drain it in the colander and set it aside.

  7. Mix the ingredients

Add the drained white beans to the skillet with the tomato sauce and mix well. Let it warm for 2 minutes over low heat.

Tip · For a heartier dish, you can add a pinch of herbes de Provence or dried basil if you have some, but it's totally optional.
  8. Add the pasta

Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss everything so the pasta is well coated in sauce.

  9. Season

Add a pinch of salt and pepper, then give it one last stir.

And there you go, it's readyCheck off every step to celebrate.
