  1. Make the dough

In the bowl, mix the flour and yeast with 10 cl of lukewarm water and a pinch of salt. Knead for 10 min until you get a smooth, stretchy ball.

Tip · For dough that's easier to knead, wet your hands with a little water.
  2. Let the dough rest

Cover the bowl with a damp kitchen towel and let the dough rest for 1 hour in a warm spot, until it doubles in size.

  3. Preheat the oven

Turn the oven on to 220 °C (gas mark 7) so it's nice and hot when the pizza goes in.

  4. Roll out the dough

On a floured surface, roll the dough out with the rolling pin into a circle about 25 cm across.

  5. Prebake the crust

Place the dough on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Prick it with a fork and bake it for 5 min to start the cooking.

  6. Add the toppings

Take the crust out of the oven. Spread the tomato sauce over the whole surface, then add half of the torn mozzarella, the sliced mushrooms and the diced ham. Sprinkle with oregano.

Tip · If the mushrooms release too much water as they cook, blot them with a paper towel before adding them.
  7. Bake the pizza

Put the pizza back in the oven for 10 to 12 min, until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.

  8. Add the rest of the cheese

Take the pizza out of the oven, scatter the rest of the torn mozzarella on top and put it back in for 2 min to brown.
