Step-by-step recipe

  1. Preheat the oven

Turn the oven to 230 °C, convection if you have it, with the baking sheet inside so it heats up.

Tip · Put the baking sheet in the oven while it preheats: the bottom of the pizza cooks better on a scorching hot sheet.
  2. Roll out the dough

Unroll the dough on the parchment paper, or roll it out on a floured counter if it's a ball, into a thin circle or rectangle about 30 cm across.

  3. Spread the tomato sauce

Spoon the 100 g of tomato sauce over the whole crust, leaving a 1 cm border. Sprinkle with the oregano.

  4. Top the pizza

Cut the ham into strips and tear the mozzarella into pieces. Scatter everything over the sauce, then add a little pepper.

  5. Bake the pizza

Slide the pizza with its paper onto the hot baking sheet. Bake at 230 °C until the edges are golden and the cheese is fully melted.

  6. Make the vinaigrette

In the small bowl, whisk 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp of balsamic vinegar, a pinch of salt and some pepper with the fork.

  7. Put the salad together

Wash and spin dry the 100 g of lettuce, halve the 50 g of cherry tomatoes and put them in the mixing bowl. Add the vinaigrette right before serving and toss.

Tip · Dress the salad at the last second, otherwise it wilts and gets watery while you eat.
  8. Slice and serve

Take the pizza out of the oven and let it rest 2 minutes. Slice it and serve it with the salad.

And there you go, it's readyCheck off every step to celebrate.
