  1. Dice the zucchini and carrot

Wash the zucchini and carrots. Cut them into small dice of about 1 cm on the cutting board.

  2. Cook the vegetables

Set the skillet over medium heat with the oil. Add the diced zucchini and carrot and salt lightly. Cook for 5 min, stirring with the wooden spoon, until they start to soften.

  3. Cook the diced chicken

While the vegetables cook, cut the chicken breast into small 2 cm cubes. Add them to the skillet with the vegetables. Season lightly with pepper. Cook for 8 min over medium heat, stirring regularly, until the chicken is white all the way through.

Tip · If the chicken is still pink in the center after 8 min, cook it 2-3 min longer, no hesitation.
  4. Make the couscous

While the chicken cooks, bring 300 ml of water to a boil in the saucepan over high heat. When it boils, take it off the heat, add the couscous, cover and let it swell for 5 min off the heat.

Tip · For fluffier couscous, use boiling water and keep the saucepan tightly covered while it swells.
  5. Mix everything together

Fluff the couscous with a fork to separate the grains. Add it to the skillet with the chicken and vegetables. Mix well and heat for 2 min over low heat so it all comes together.

And there you go, it's readyCheck off every step to celebrate.
