  1. Cook the pasta

Bring 1 l of salted water to a boil in the saucepan. Add the 160 g of pasta and cook it for 10 min over medium heat, uncovered.

Tip · If you want your pasta al dente, taste it 1 min before the end of the cooking time on the package. It should still have a little bite.
  2. Drain the pasta

Tip the pasta into the colander and let it drain under cold water for 1 min to stop the cooking.

  3. Cut the tomatoes

On the cutting board, cut the 150 g of cherry tomatoes in half.

  4. Prep the cucumber

Wash the cucumber, cut it in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds with a spoon. Then cut the flesh into small cubes.

  5. Cut the ham

On the cutting board, cut the 100 g of ham into small pieces.

  6. Mix the ingredients

In the large bowl, add the drained pasta, tomatoes, cucumber, ham and the 100 g of drained corn. Add half of the diced cheddar.

Tip · To keep the cheddar from softening too much, add it last and mix quickly.
  7. Make the dressing

In the mixing bowl, add the 2 tbsp of mayonnaise and the 1 tbsp of cider vinegar. Mix well.

  8. Dress the salad

Add the dressing to the mix in the large bowl. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Mix well to coat everything.

  9. Add the cheese

Sprinkle the salad with the rest of the diced cheddar. Toss gently to spread the cheese around.
