Step-by-step recipe

  1. Start the eggs

Put the 4 eggs in the saucepan, cover them with cold water and bring to a boil over high heat.

  2. Hard-boil the eggs

As soon as the water boils, turn down to medium heat and cook for 10 min.

Tip · Stick to the full 10 min once the water boils, otherwise the yolk stays runny. Meanwhile, roll right through steps 3 to 6 without waiting.
  3. Prep the tomatoes

While the eggs cook, cut the 200 g of cherry tomatoes in half, no need to peel them.

  4. Slice the red onion

Thinly slice the half red onion and put it in the mixing bowl with the tomatoes.

  5. Build the base

Drain and rinse the 400 g of lentils, then add them to the mixing bowl. Drain the 2 cans of tuna, flake the tuna and add it too.

  6. Dress the salad

Pour in 1 tbsp of balsamic vinegar and 1 tbsp of olive oil, season with salt and pepper and toss well.

  7. Cool and peel

Drop the eggs in cold water for 2 min, peel them and cut them into quarters.

Tip · Tap the egg gently on the counter and roll it before peeling it under a trickle of water, the shell comes off way easier.
  8. Plate the salad

Divide the salad between 2 plates and arrange the egg quarters on top.

And there you go, it's readyCheck off every step to celebrate.
