  1. Boil the water

Fill the saucepan halfway with water and bring it to a boil over high heat. Lightly salt the water before adding the pasta.

  2. Cook the pasta

Add the 160 g of pasta to the boiling water and let it cook for 8 to 10 min, following the time on the package. Drain without rinsing.

  3. Chop the onion

Peel the onion and dice it small on the cutting board.

  4. Cook the onion

Heat 0.5 tbsp of oil in the nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook it for 3 min without letting it brown.

Tip · If the onion starts browning too fast, turn the heat down and add 1 tbsp of water so it doesn't stick.
  5. Add the spinach

Add the 170 g of fresh spinach to the skillet with the onion. Stir for 2 min until it wilts.

  6. Stir in the tomatoes

Add the 130 g of crushed tomatoes to the skillet. Let it simmer for 5 min over low heat, stirring now and then.

  7. Add the tuna

Drain the tuna and flake it right into the skillet with everything else. Mix well and let it warm for 2 min.

  8. Season

Taste and adjust the salt and pepper to your liking. If it looks too dry, add a little pasta water.

Tip · For an even richer dish, save a little pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
  9. Toss with the pasta

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Mix well so the pasta is coated in sauce.
