  1. Prep the cabbage

Thinly slice the 200 g of white cabbage on the cutting board. Grate the carrot. Mix it all together in the bowl.

  2. Dress the slaw

Add the mayonnaise, cider vinegar, and a little salt and pepper. Mix well to coat the vegetables. Set aside.

  3. Cook the hot dogs

Bring a saucepan of water to a boil. Drop in the 4 hot dog sausages and cook for 10 min over medium heat. Drain and set aside.

Tip · To keep the sausages from bursting, prick them lightly with a fork before dropping them into the water.
  4. Toast the buns

Heat the skillet over medium heat with a little fat. Toast the 4 buns 2 min per side until golden. Set aside.

  5. Cook the onion

In the same skillet, cook the sliced onion over medium heat for 3 min until translucent. Add a little salt and pepper.

  6. Build the hot dogs

Split each bun open. Spread 1/2 tbsp of mustard and 1 tbsp of ketchup on each half. Add a sausage and a little cooked onion.

Tip · If you like some crunch, add sliced pickles to the hot dogs.
  7. Serve

Arrange the hot dogs on a plate and serve with the coleslaw. Dig in right away.
