Step-by-step recipe

  1. Preheat the oven

Turn the oven on to 220 °C (gas mark 7) so it's nice and hot when the pizza goes in.

Tip · If your oven has a convection setting, use it for more even baking.
  2. Roll out the dough

Take the dough out of the fridge and spread it right onto a baking sheet lightly greased with a little olive oil. Use the rolling pin if needed for an even round.

  3. Spread the tomato sauce

Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the whole dough, leaving a 1 cm border for the crust.

  4. Add the ham

Cut the ham into small pieces and scatter them over the sauce.

  5. Scatter the mozzarella

Drain the mozzarella, tear it by hand and scatter it over the ham. Use half of the cheese for this step.

  6. Bake the pizza

Bake the pizza on the middle rack for 12 to 15 min, until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.

Tip · Keep a close eye on the pizza toward the end so the cheese doesn't burn.
  7. Make the salad

Wash the green salad, spin it dry and tear it into pieces in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.

  8. Add the rest of the cheese

Take the pizza out of the oven, scatter the rest of the mozzarella on top and put it back under the broiler for 2 min to brown lightly.

  9. Serve

Cut the pizza into slices and serve it with the salad on the side.

And there you go, it's readyCheck off every step to celebrate.
