Step-by-step recipe

  1. Preheat the oven

Turn the oven on to 200 °C (gas mark 6-7).

  2. Wash the potatoes

Scrub the potatoes under cold water to remove the dirt. Dry them with a clean dish towel.

  3. Hollow out the potatoes

With a knife, cut a lid off the top of each potato. Scoop out the inside with a tablespoon, leaving a shell about 5 mm thick.

Tip · Save the potato flesh for the filling, but don't press it too hard or it will turn gluey.
  4. Bake the potatoes

Place the hollowed-out potatoes on a baking sheet. Bake them at 200 °C for 25 min.

  5. Make the filling

In a bowl, mash the potato flesh with a fork. Add the drained tuna, the drained corn, half the fromage blanc, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well.

  6. Stuff the potatoes

Take the potatoes out of the oven. Using a spoon, fill each potato with the mixture. Put them back in the oven for 10 min.

Tip · If the stuffed potatoes seem too soft, bake them 5 min longer at 180 °C so they hold together better.
  7. Prep the salad

Wash the lettuce under cold water. Spin it dry or pat it in a dish towel to remove excess water.

  8. Serve

Arrange the stuffed potatoes on a plate with the lettuce on the side. Drizzle with the rest of the fromage blanc if you like.

And there you go, it's readyCheck off every step to celebrate.
