When you arrive, pick your full week, or go straight to a family recipe, a dinner party, your recipes, Fridge Clear-out or ideas: nothing to set up first.
Choose the dishes to make ahead: Popotam spreads them over the week and times your session, with how long each container keeps, adapted to your kitchen (stovetop, oven, multicooker).
Yes. All 117 Popotam features are free for everyone: no subscription, no paid tier, no ads. Popotam runs on donations from the people who use it.
Do I need an account?
No. Your planner lives behind a secret link, with no account or password. An email address is optional, only to find your planners again or get a reminder.
Does Popotam handle diets and allergies?
Yes: vegetarian, vegan, no pork, halal, kosher, gluten-free, lactose-free, alcohol-free, pregnancy and nine common allergens. Every suggested dish is checked before you see it, and foods you dislike are kept out of your menus.
Can I add my own recipes?
Yes: write them in your cookbook, import them from a link (any recipe site or blog) or photograph a handwritten recipe card. Dishes from your cookbook then come back in your weeks.
Can I shop at several stores?
Yes: the grocery list sorts itself by store, one main store and others for some aisles, and each store gets its share to send separately. Popotam works with any store, with no partner and no commission.
Does Popotam work on my phone, and with others?
Yes: in any browser, installed on your home screen, or with the free Android app on Google Play. The same planner is shared with a link or a QR code, and what one person changes shows up for the others within seconds.
What does the AI do in Popotam?
It plans the menus and writes recipes on demand. The code checks every dish (diet, excluded foods, time) before showing it to you; calories come from ANSES's Ciqual table, never from the AI, and prices from in-store price surveys (Open Prices and INSEE).
