  1. Peel the potatoes

Wash the potatoes under cold water, then peel them with the knife on the cutting board. Cut them into small cubes of about 1 cm.

  2. Cook the potatoes

Add the oil to the nonstick skillet and set it over medium heat. Add the diced potatoes and cook for 10 min, stirring now and then with the wooden spoon. Season lightly with salt.

Tip · For crispy potatoes, don't stir them too often while they cook.
  3. Add the chopped onion

Chop the onion into small pieces on the cutting board. Add it to the skillet with the potatoes and cook for 3 min, stirring.

  4. Cook the frozen spinach

Add the frozen spinach to the skillet and mix well. Cook for 5 min over medium heat until thawed and slightly reduced.

  5. Beat the eggs

In the bowl, beat the eggs with the fork. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Spread this mixture over the potatoes, onion and spinach in the skillet.

Tip · For a softer frittata, cook it over very low heat without flipping.
  6. Cook the frittata

Cook the frittata over low heat for 10 min, until the edges are golden and the top is almost set. Flip it gently with a flat plate if you want to cook the other side for 2 min.

  7. Serve hot

Slide the frittata out of the skillet and cut it into two equal portions. Serve right away.
