  1. Cook the rice

Rinse the rice under cold water in the saucepan until the water runs clear. Add 300 ml of water, bring to a boil, then lower the heat, cover and let it cook for 35 min over low heat.

Tip · To save time, you can cook the rice while you prep the other ingredients, but always rinse the grains before you start cooking them.
  2. Prep the ingredients

Peel the carrot and cut it into small cubes. In a bowl, beat the 3 eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper.

  3. Cook the carrots

In the nonstick skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the diced carrot and cook for 5 min, stirring now and then.

  4. Add the peas

Add the frozen peas to the skillet with the carrots. Cook for 3 min over medium heat, stirring.

  5. Cook the eggs

Push the veggies to the side of the skillet. Add the beaten eggs to the empty space and let them cook for 1 min without stirring, then mix them in with the veggies.

Tip · For really creamy eggs, take the skillet off the heat just before the eggs are fully cooked: the leftover heat will finish them.
  6. Mix in the rice

Add the cooked rice to the skillet, add the soy sauce and mix everything well over low heat for 2 min so the flavors blend.

And there you go, it's readyCheck off every step to celebrate.
