Step-by-step recipe

  1. Preheat the oven

Turn the oven on to 200 °C (gas mark 6-7) so it's nice and hot when the salmon goes in.

  2. Cut the potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes of about 2 cm. Set them aside in a bowl.

  3. Cook the potatoes

Heat the skillet over medium heat with a little oil. Add the potatoes and brown them for 5 min, stirring. Season lightly with salt.

Tip · For really crispy potatoes, don't crowd them in the skillet. Leave a little room between the pieces.
  4. Prep the broccoli

Wash the broccoli and cut it into small florets. Set aside.

  5. Put the potatoes in the oven

Tip the potatoes into a baking dish. Bake at 200 °C for 15 min.

  6. Cook the salmon

Set the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with a little lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Put them in the oven with the potatoes for the last 10 minutes.

Tip · If the salmon is thick, cook it 2-3 min longer, but no more or it will dry out.
  7. Cook the broccoli

While the salmon cooks, bring some water to a boil in a saucepan. Add the broccoli for 5 min, then drain.

  8. Serve hot

Take everything out of the oven and set the salmon fillets on the potatoes. Add the broccoli on the side. Serve right away.
