  1. Boil the water

Fill the saucepan halfway with water and bring it to a boil over high heat. Add a pinch of salt.

  2. Cook the pasta

Drop the 160 g of pasta into the boiling water and let it cook for the time on the package (usually 8-10 min).

  3. Prep the ham

Using the knife and cutting board, cut the ham into small cubes of about 1 cm.

Tip · Dice the ham before you start cooking the pasta to save time.
  4. Brown the ham

In the nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook the diced ham for 2 min without adding any fat, so it browns lightly.

  5. Add the peas

Add the 120 g of frozen peas to the skillet with the ham. Stir well and let them cook for 3 min over medium heat.

  6. Drain the pasta

Once the pasta is cooked, drain it in the colander and save a little cooking water (about 5 cl).

  7. Toss it all together

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the ham and peas. Add the crème fraîche and a little of the saved cooking water. Mix well.

Tip · If the sauce is too thick, add a little pasta water to loosen it.
  8. Season

Taste and adjust the seasoning with a pinch of salt and pepper if needed.

And there you go, it's readyCheck off every step to celebrate.
