  1. Boil the water

Fill the saucepan halfway with water and bring it to a boil over high heat. Add a pinch of salt.

Tip · If the water is boiling too hard, turn the heat down a little to avoid splatters.
  2. Cook the pasta

Drop the pasta into the boiling water and let it cook for 8 to 10 min, following the time on the package. Drain it in the colander.

  3. Dice the ham

Using the knife and cutting board, cut the ham into small cubes of about 1 cm.

  4. Brown the ham

In the nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook the diced ham for 2 min without any fat. Set aside.

  5. Cook the peas

In the same skillet, add the frozen peas and cook them for 3 min over medium heat, stirring with the wooden spoon.

  6. Toss it all together

Add the crème fraîche, the drained pasta and the ham you set aside to the skillet. Mix well and let it warm through for 1 min over low heat.

Tip · If the sauce is too thick, add a tablespoon of pasta water to loosen it.
  7. Season

Add a little pepper, then taste and adjust the salt if needed.

And there you go, it's readyCheck off every step to celebrate.
